SOUTHERN FORD DEALERS
WIN A FORD SUPER DUTY TRUCK SWEEPSTAKES
OFFICIAL RULES

  1. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER. NO PARTICIPANT SHALL BE REQUIRED OR INVITED TO VIEW, HEAR OR ATTEND ANY SALES PRESENTATION. THIS SWEEPSTAKES IS VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.
  2. ELIGIBILITY: Sweepstakes is open to licensed drivers age 18 years or older, who are legal residents of the state of Florida (excluding Broward, Charlotte, Collier, Lee, Miami-Dade, Monroe and Palm Beach counties); or the following Alabama counties-Baldwin, Clark, Conecuh, Escambia, Mobile, Monroe, Washington, or the following Georgia counties-Brantley, Brooks, Camden, Charlton, Clinch, Decatur, Echols, Grady, Glynn, Lanier, Lowndes, Miller, McIntosh, Thomas, Pierce, Ware; except employees of Ford Motor Company, Ford Motor Credit Corporation, the Southern Ford Dealers, Live Nation, Marketing Resources Incorporated, their retailers, any related companies, and their advertising and promotion Period"). One may enter during the Promotional Period by completing an official entry form available on-line at SouthernFordDealers.com or WinaSuperDuty.com or WinaFordSuperDuty.com or by mailing a 3" by 5" card with the following information: name, address, city, state, zip code, day/evening telephone numbers, Email address and birthday to the Promoter at the address listed in paragraph 6 below; Attention: SFD’s Win a Ford Super Duty. Email and entries by mail must be received by 11:59 p.m. EST, August 31, 2008. Limit one entry per person per day. No mechanical reproductions of entry permitted. Sponsor not responsible for lost, stolen, late, misdirected, postage due, illegible or incomplete entries, all of which shall be disqualified. In the event of a dispute regarding on-line entry, entry will be deemed made by the holder of the email account associated with the entry. Sponsor is not responsible for technical or computer failures, errors or data loss of any kind, lost or unavailable Internet connections, or failed, incomplete, garbled or deleted computer or network transmissions, inability to access any web site or on-line service, or any other error or malfunction. Entry materials that have been tampered with or altered are void. If the Sponsor, Promoter or their agents determine, in their sole discretion, that there is any suspected or actual electronic tampering with the Sweepstakes or if technical difficulties compromise the integrity of the Sweepstakes, the Sponsor reserve the right to void the entries at issue and/or terminate the Sweepstakes and conduct a random drawing to award the prizes among all eligible entries received as of the termination date. If, for any reason, the Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of Sponsor which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes, Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entrant that tampers with the operation of the Sweepstakes or websites or violates the Official Rules of the Sweepstakes. Once submitted, entries become the sole property of the Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned.

DRAWINGS: A total of thirty (30) semi-finalists will be selected by random drawings conducted throughout the Promotional Period – 3 entries drawn on 1/31/08, 2/29/08 and 4 entries drawn on 3/31/08, 4/30/08, 5/30/08, 6/30/08, 7/31/08 and 9/2/08 – by St. John & Partners Advertising, whose decisions are final, from those automatically entered in the sweepstakes from the Southern Ford Dealers-sponsored events and from all eligible on-line and mailed in entries submitted during the Promotional Period. The thirty (30) selected semi-finalists will win the semi-finalist prize described in paragraph 5 below to attend an major concert event (the "Event") at the Ford Amphitheatre in Tampa, Florida in September or October, 2008 (exact date to be determined based on concert schedules) where each will be given a 5-digit door code or a key to try on the 2008 Ford Super Duty. The person whose code unlocks the door of the truck or whose key starts the truck wins the Grand Prize.

    Odds of Winning the Grand Prize

    One (1) 2008 Ford Super Duty Truck (VIN Number 1FTSW21578EB89662) used in Promotion – the prize is the vehicle which will be displayed at the Southern Ford Dealer-sponsored events during the Promotional Period, and will be driven from event to event throughout the promotion

    Estimated retail value $26,285 based on manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $42,580 less depreciation from date of vehicle invoice (July 2007) at 2.25% depreciation per month wear and tear including an estimated 15,000 miles on truck. Any difference between actual value and estimated retail value will not be awarded.

  6. WINNER SELECTION/CLAIMING PRIZES: The thirty (30) semi-finalists will be notified by phone by September 4, 2008 by St. John & Partners. Each semi-finalist must be present at the Event to be eligible to win the Grand Prize, where each will be given a 5-digit door code or a key to try on the 2008 Ford Super Duty truck. The person whose code unlocks the door or whose key starts the engine wins the Grand Prize. If a semi-finalist is not present at the Event, that person shall forfeit any and all claims and rights to the Grand Prize and only those semi-finalists present will be eligible to win the Grand Prize. Winner must present a valid driver’s license, evidence of vehicle liability insurance and any other information required by state law as a condition of receiving possession of the Grand Prize vehicle. Winner will be responsible for taxes, registration, licensing, title, insurance fees and any other expenses related to the acceptance and use of the vehicle prize. Winner must take delivery of prize vehicle within thirty (30) days of notice of availability from Sponsor from a dealer near winner’s residence approved by Sponsor. Prizes may be warranted by the manufacturer, but SPONSOR EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF TITLE, MERCHANTABILITY, QUIET ENJOYMENT, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. The semi-finalists and Grand Prize winner will be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability Release and a Publicity Release within a specified time after prize notification or prizes will be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner. Prizes may not be assigned, transferred, changed or redeemed for cash, except at Sponsor’s sole discretion. Prize is awarded “as is” with no warranty or guarantee, express or implied, by Sponsor. Sponsor disclaims all and any liability for the actual provision, quality or nature of any third-party product or service accepted by the winner. The awarding of any prize is contingent upon full compliance with these Official Rules. Entrants agree to be bound by Official Rules and agree that if winner fails to provide any documentation, affidavit, or other item required hereunder, is found to have violated Official Rules, or otherwise does not meet eligibility criteria, prize will be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner in a random drawing. Entrants understand that Promoter and Sponsor are not liable for injuries, losses or damages of any kind arising from participation in this promotion and acceptance, possession and use of any prize.

ADDITIONAL TERMS: By participating, entrants agree (a) to the Official Rules and the decisions of the Promoter and Sponsor, which shall be final in all respects; (b) where legal, to the use of their names, voice, photograph, likenesses and any statements regarding this Sweepstakes for public relations, advertising and promotional purposes on behalf of Sponsor without compensation; and (c) to release, discharge, and hold harmless Sponsor, its parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, sales representatives, dealers and their respective directors, officers, managers, employees and agents from any and all claims, damages and liability arising out of their participation in the sweepstakes and the acceptance, use, or misuse of any prize. All taxes on prizes are the sole responsibility of the winners, who will be issued a 1099 or similar tax form from Sponsor.
  11. WINNERS' LIST: The list of semi-finalists and grand prize winner shall be posted on SouthernFordDealers.com. For the names of the winners, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to Promoter before November 1, 2008.
